WASTE RECYCLING IN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR

The Construction Sector is one of the major users of Steel and the issue of recycling is therefore an important one, both for the sector and for the Steel industry, which needs to re-use it as a secondary raw material, scrap. Estimates indicate a fairly high level of recycling rate, although the information is not precise enough to validate an exact figure. The trend however is oriented upwards and deconstruction, an emergent technology in the sector, will probably prove to be a privileged solution to keep increasing this rate - even more so than in other consumer good sectors.
