NHVDC PROJECT STAGE-ⅡSPECIAL FEATURES AND INDIGENISATION EFFORTS

The project is a unique cooperative R&D effort where a manufacturing unit, utilities & Govt. agencies worked together to build up a strength in a new technology area. India has found a distinct place in HVDC map having already Seven commercial projects operating, 1in in advanced stage. It has manufacturing capacity for majority of items, a good strength of technical personnel & world class facilities.
