摘要

Having researched the formation mechanism of surface of machined workpiece and the modeling principle of general volumetric position error for CNC machine tools based on the multi-body system theories. After this, the calculating method of contour error of virtual surface according of volumetric position error is presented. In addition, having researched the measuring and identifying of the synthesis error that includes geometry errors, heat deformation errors, and force deformation errors. Finally, the software of the precision predicting model is setup for virtual CNC machine tools and an example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed model.
