The broad range of styrenic―thermoplastic elastomers (styrenic-TPE's) available today is seen in the variety of different markets where they are used. This ability to meet the differing needs of these markets is dependent upon the vast formulating capabilities that exist when compounding styrenic-TPE systems. The science involved in the development of styrenic-TPE's provides the formulator with a variety of routes to meet not only the physical demands of the markets they are used in, but also the processing demands needed in the successful production of marketable materials.
