A possibility of creation of a high-velocity (~ 1ms~(-1) ) laser printing machine of the "computer to print" type is considered. The ink is removed from a transparent ink carrier on the image carrier under a pressure pulse arising of the UV laser radiation focusing point. The experimental results are reported on the removal of different-colour ink from a transparent substrate on an image carrier (paper, plastic etc) by means of the UV laser pulse. It is shown that the energy required for printing a single element (pixel) may amount to several hundred nanojoules.
