New and better products by combining thermosetting rubber and thermoplastic materials in injection molding

摘要

The above presented results give an idea about targets, potential and problems when thermosetting materials are combined with thermoplastics or rubber. The most promising field seems to be the thermoset rubber combination as many heat related problems don't exist. However further work has to be done, to find or develop appropriate compounds and mould technology and machine technology.
