Reliability and availability are key features of fleet performance. Analysis of train performance can be used to improve the reliability of existing trains, and also that of follow-on trains. Analysis can also target design improvements on new fleets. Adtranz have built on the experience of the growing Turbostar fleet to create the Turbostar Traveller - the regional DMU to meet the new market requirements.
