摘要

The reaction mechanism of a novel thermo-setting resin cured rom a monomer containing triaza compound (1,3,5-Tri-4- hydroxyphenylhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine) is investigated1. Thermo-curing process is followed by ~(13)C NMR and IR to confirm he formation of benzoxazine ring and secondary and primary amine moieties. When this monomer is polymerized with stoichiometric amount of epoxy compound, the cured resin showed excellent thermal and mechanical properties.
