Semi-productions and Articles of Foamed Aluminum produced by a Powder Metallurgy Technique

VILS Stock Co has developed a pilot technology for production of sheet size 5-30 X 1000 X 1000 mm, and granules of 5-15 mm in diameter foamed aluminum semiproducts and artickes by a powder metallurgy technique. The material produced was comprehensively studied depending on parameters of their production. Mechanical properties, acoustical absorptivity, moisture absorptivity, combustibility, impact energy absorption and a number of other properties has been investigated.
