Description of G2DMULT moment method algorithm for calculating spectral Green's functions of cylindrical multiconductor structures of arbitrary cross section
The moment method and corresponding boundary element methods are commonly used methods when analyzing radiation and scattering from structures. The purpose of the present paper is to present a general algorithm G2DMULT for calculating spectral Green's functions of 2D multiregion structures. The algorithm is based on previous formulations (Harrington, 1968), and the experience gained through previous work. The multiple material regions are handled in G2DMULT by the same solution procedure which is used to find Green's functions of planar one-dimensional (1D) multilayer structures in the G1DMULT algorithm. The reason for developing G2DMULT is to obtain a well structured and documented platform for further work with moment method solutions of 3D elements close to 2D structures. The present paper describes the general lay-out of G2DMULT, which has been implemented in Fortran code.
