investigation of 4-Amino-2,3-dimethyl-1-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one as corrosion inhibitors for carbon steel in 1M HCl solution

摘要

The influence of 4-Amino-2, 3-dimethyl-l-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one was investigated as corrosion inhibitors of carbon steel in 1 M HC1 solution using Tafel polarization and electrochemical Impedance spectroscopy techniques. The results showed that 4-Amino-2, 3-dimethyl-l-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one inhibited the corrosion of carbon steel in 1M HCl. 4-Amino-2, 3-dimethyl-l-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one suppressed both cathodic and anodic processes of steel corrosion in 1M HCl, 4-Amino-2, 3-dimethyl-l-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one molecules via mixed adsorption mechanism 4-Amino-2, 3-dimethyl-l-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one was adsorbed on the carbon steel surface according to a Langmuir isotherm adsorption model.
