摘要

Mechanism of formation and development of the ITZ (interfacial transition zone) in cement-based materials is discussed. A non-placement model is proposed to simulate the particle packing and microstructure of the ITZ. The simulated results show that the properties of the ITZ, such as higher porosity and larger pores, partially ordered packing of particles near the wall (aggregate surface), can be reflected with the model.
