摘要

This paper proposes an efficient method for voltage and reactive power control in electric power systems. The proposed method is based on tabu search (TS) that makes use of adaptive memory to escape from a local minimum. The drawback of TS is that the number of solution candidates significantly increases in the neighborhood with the problem size. To overcome it, this paper introduces the goal softening of the ordinal optimization into TS. It allows to reduce the number of the solution candidates with probability. The proposed method is successfully applied to the voltage and reactive power control problem that minimizes the deviation of nodal voltages in electric power systems.
