A new drying model in wool fabric is developed in this paper. This paper focuses on the physical mechanism of the liquid diffusion in the wool fabric. The model assumes that the liquid water moves in the composite network of capillaries of the wool fabric and is carried to the surface by capillary motion. In the fibers the identified two-stage of moisture sorption of wool is used by a diffusion equation with two sets of variable water vapor diffusion coefficients. The governing equations are obtained. The numerical solutions are obtained by finite volume method. The results are compared with Re. The comparisons indicate that the model is satisfactory.
