Component technology and remote process visualization

摘要

The contribution deals with the relevance and usefulness of software components -ActiveX controls in the context of industrial automation software. The emphasis i concentrated on the remote visualizaiton -SCADA/HMI (Supervisory Control and Dat Acquisition/Human Machine Interface) through dynamic HTML pages. REsearch an education DCS (Distributed Control System) at the DCAI (Department of Cybernetics an Artificial Intelligence) is shortly presented here. One part of its SCADA/HMI subsystem vwa implemented with the goal of remote visualization by the use of Active X Controls (Rockwel Software) and ASP-Active Server Pages technology (Microsoft).
