摘要

This paper describes counterflow closed circuit cooling towers made by authors. The new cooling towers have many functions, low noise, safe and fire prevention, energy conservation etc. and they find wide application. The mathematical models of the counterflow closed circuit are established in terms of mass and heat balances. It is calculated that outlet temperature of cooling water varies with spray water flow rate. Performance curve of the cooling towers is drawn. Results of theoretical calculation are found to be close to the experimental data.
