Simulation of ultrasonic wave propagation in composite materials

摘要

The use of the ultrasonic wave technology was expected as one of important technologies in health monitoring of composite materials and/or structures. However, the propagation of ultrasonic wave becomes very complicated when it was used for the polymer based composites material due to reflection and dispersion and so no, which may occur on interface of matrix and reinforcements. Therefore, in this study, the propagation of ultrasonic wave in composite material was simulated with a composite model, and the result was examined by the wave theory.
