Present Cast FIlm Technology involves high-speed extrusion and winding equipment worth millions of dollars. Installation of these systems is critical to achieving the expected productivity and safety levels of a typical twenty-four-hour/seven day a week operation. The following paper will present general installation guidelines and recommendations to insure a smooth, maximum yield; on-time schedule of a high-speed multilayer cast film system.
