摘要

A new Fourier analysis technique called arithmetic Fourier transform (AFT) is presented in this paper. This algorithm gives a new approach for the fast computation of discrete Fourier transform (DFT) at an arbitrary length. The fast Fourier transform (FFT) combined with AFT is used to analyze the electroencephalogram (EEG) in the frequency field. This method overcomes the disadvantage of the traditional FFT and improves spped and accuracy of the calculation.
