Dispersion Modeling in Terrain for Liquefied Gas Releases from Plant and Pipelines

摘要

The authors were involved in the planning, design and construction of several LPG storage installations during the 1990s. Each of these was subject to strick risk acceptance criteria for land use planning purposes. The criteria were applied by authorities to determine site acceptability and required safety distances. The criteria were used by designers for the optimal selection of high integrity and inherently safer safety systems, for risk reduction.
