Experiments were conducted to study the heat transfer characteristics of condensate on a vertical column of horizontal enhanced tubes. Three tubes arranged in a vertical column were set in stationary and flowing vapor. In the current experimetn, a special three-dimensional-fin tube was tested. In addition, a smooth tube was also tested for comparison with enhanced tube. The working fluid used in the experiment is refrigerant R11/R113. Average condensation heat transfer coefficients on tubes were obtained. The experimental results showed that PF tube can efficiently enhanced convective condensation heat transfer of NARMs, and forced convective condensation heat transfer coefficient is higher than that of natural convection.
