Dam safety supervision of hydroipower stations in china stepping forward 21 century

摘要

This paper systematically introduces the management system, legislation, monitoring technology and management situation of dam safety of hydropower stations in China. It puts stress on the works performed by Large Dam safety Supervision Center, State Power corporation of China for 15 years and its acievements: changing the working fack of dam safety management of hydropower stations, stepeping on the track of the regulation, standardism and insitutionism ,taking a series of measures to strengthen dam safety management and improving dam safety state. In recent years, since dam safety monitoring technology has great progress, it is obvious for the ear and eye effects playsed. In order to open up a new prospect of dam afety management, according to the new situation of significant reform of electric power industry system, it indicates that dam safety is an issue of public safety, it is not pure enterprise action and the government must fulfill the supervision function.
