Wireless packet data services - the key to in-vehicel telematics

This paper describes the advantages of wireless packet data. it describes the emerging opportunities for ITS applications arising from the widespread implementation of wireless packet data serivces such as GPRS and WAP. Existing and future ITS applications using wireless packet data are described. The issues facing car manufacturers in particular for 2005 are dicussed.
