Development of a Neutral Multi-Metal Safe Aqueous Cleaner/Corrosion Inhibitor

The success of this development project has demonstrated that the use of chemicals, long considered a must in industrial cleaning, can be eliminated when a combination of safe alternatives are used. This development process was initiated with an eye on the future, as mentioned above many chemicals are being restricted, or being considered for restriction due to their harmful nature to both humans and the environment. These restrictions do not only apply to the United States, but as you look around the globe at different countries there is a big emphasis on using products which are 'safe'. We feel this trend will only increase and by investigating this technology now we will be able to consistently offer a line of products which offer both performance and safety. The new cleaner/corrosion inhibitor has many advantages including being worker friendly and environmentally responsible. In terms of performance it exhibits good detergency on a variety of soils and provides excellent in-process corrosion protection. We plan to keep investigating the use of this product, as well as expanding the scope of our original plan to include a series of new products that are safe on cast iron and other metals, and a heavy-duty cleaner.
