Chromatic Dispersion Monitoring Using Synchronous Sampling

摘要

We experimentally demonstrate that by synchronously sampling on both sides of the eye diagram, group velocity dispersion of up to 1800ps/nm can be accurately assessed. The effect of noise and self phase modulation on the accuracy is also investigated.
