Boiling process of low temperature formation water in petroleum system, Qaidam Basin

摘要

Following the study of Roedder et al, boiling fluid inclusions are identified in oil reservoir of Qaidam Basin. This paper reports the general characteristics of the boiling fluid inclusions, analyzes the conditions for the formation water to boil at low temperature, and discusses the relation between the boiling process and the oil/gas accumulation.
