Everyone is able to apply the well known concept polarization of radiation to a plane and a local plane waves. It is possible to extend the concept of circular polarization to any electromagnetic field in a homogeneous substance. It is make via diagonalization Maxwell's equations by means of change of field vectors: F_+-=0.5(E-+i(#mu#_0/#epsilon#H)~(1/2), the system of equations about field vectors E, H reduces to two independent equations about vectors H_+-.
