Current Status and Development Trend of The Third Generation Mobile Communication

摘要

This article describes the main objective and functions of the third generation mobile communication systems. It then introduces three main technical schemes proposed to ITU(W-CDMA, cdma2000 and TD-SCDMA) in detail and compares them. At last, it analyzes and predicts the development direction of the third generation mobile communication.
