Metrological science and technology will further display its role to improve the quality of human life in the 21st century. The auther deem that there will be some great changes on measurement calibration in the 21st century. GPS(Global Positioning System) and GLONASS(GLOBAL NAvigation Satellite System) can provide very accuracy time and time interval data. They can be used as the tool for time & relative parameters' value transfer and calibration. INTERNET is very convenient for users to exchange information. So we could combine both INTERNET and GPS to realize the improvement of the traditional metrological & measurement mode. We should do our best for it.
