According to the characteristic of CDMA technology and its limitation of application in radio network, CDMA technology is applied to CATV for the first time and a new kind of CATV/CDMA system is presented in this article. Based on these new ideas, these initial works will open up a new field for the application of CDMA technoogy and the development of CATV network.
