Electromagetically Induced Transparency (EIT) has been observed in K{sub}2 two-photon transitions using a single laser. The intermediate mixed state A (1{sup left}(∑{sub}u)){sup}+~b 3{sup left}∏{sub}u resonantly enhanced the two-photon 23{sup left}∏{sub}g ←X(1{sup left}(∑{sub}g)){sup}+ transition.
