摘要

The aerodynamic design of a 500 kW wind rotor was discussed, and a set of optimal numerical model for the aerodynamic design of windmill rotor was established in this paper. The rated power of rotor and the area where the windmill is used are theinitial and key factors in this numerical model. All the parameters about sizes, structures, and working conditions of wind rotor were optimized through the shaft power calculations of wind rotor. This set of numerical model realizes that all theparameters of wind rotor are fully optimized through rotor designing procedure. With the numerical model, the aerodynamic design for the wind rotor becomes more simple and reliable.
