Molybdenum prealloyed premixes with copper, nickel and graphite are widely used in the industry as they provide superior mechanical properties. Binder treatment technology provides reduced segregation, improved productivity and better precision when compared to not bonded premixes. Recent developments in binder technology resulted in improvements in the flow rate and green strength. A review of these developments will be presented and their impact on final processing and performance will be outlined.
