METHODS OF STUDYING INTEGRATED OIL AND GAS GEOLOGY SYSTEM IN THE FAR NORTH OF SIBERIA

The concept of the development of Siberia's Far North is based on a systems approach and integration of the entire oil and gas production complex into a single system, from a forecast and prospecting to the development and recovery of hydrocarbon resources. Such an approach determined the requirement of a study of a wide range of issues and search for solution of the new scientific, technological and engineering problems. Implementation of the systems approach to the oil and gas complex of Siberia's Far North as an integrated involved system enabled the development of a methodology for systems research into complex objects, design geological structure models for individual basins, substantiate the assessment of their unique hydrocarbon resources, elaborate exploration strategy and techniques and theoretical fundamentals of the development of unique northern reservoirs that have no analogs worldwide, and resolve a broad range of issues associated with the methods of prospecting, exploration, and optimization of the development of these unique reservoirs.
