Laser machine for anti-slip finish of polished floortiles

As a part of the BMBF-Project "Laserprocessing of natural stone" the Fraunhofer-Institute for Material and Beam Technology demonstrated that an anti.slip finish of polished natural stone can be obtained by making an array of micro craters by means of pulsed laser radiation. This provided the basis for the development of a technical process.
