摘要

An all-FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) composite bridge deck is described. The proposed bridge deck system can be fabricated using off-the-shelf pultruded comonents such as box sections and plates. These structural components are bonded together instead of mechanically fastened to produce the bridge superstructure; the end product will behave monolithically. The feasibility of different configurations for construction and possible experimental setup are discussed in this paper.
