Since the PAPR of multi-code CDMA signal is usually large, a highly-linear power amplifier is required. We present a constant amplitude multi-code (CAMC) CDMA which has a built-in error correction capability. The PAPR of CAMC is very low since the amplitude is constant, which is achieved at the cost of redundant bits for the pre-coding in CAMC. We show that these redundant bits in CAMC can be reconfigured into the parity bits in the form of a single parity check product code (SPCPC). An iterative decoding algorithm is presented which fully utilizes the parity bits of the reconfigured CAMC. Computer simulation results show that CAMC has a superior performance of error correction than a generic SPCPC. CAMC provides both a low PAPR and robustness to bit errors.
