The meridian theory is a very important component of the traditional Chinese medical theory, but the modern biology and medical circles have long argued on such key as its existance in reality, and what its physical bases and nature actually are. Such key issues have to be systematically clarified with scientific theory through strict experimental explorations and verifications, then the meridian theory, as a most treasured heritage, will establish its own deserved academic status and be accepted as a part of the modern science to make greater contributions to mankind.
