Defining ozone system optimization

The American Water Works Association Research Foundation (AWWWARF) and the Electric Power Research Institute, COmmunity Environmental (Center (EPRI-CEC) have jointed in a collaborated research effort to enhance opportunities for energy optimization of ozone systems in drinking water treatment plants. Initial project activities included development of a protocol for conducting Ozone Facility Evaluations (OFE's) (DeMers, Raknmess and Blank, 1996).
