摘要

An innovative measurement method to characterize the grinding wheel surface shape and topography is proposed and tested in the present paper. An ultra high-speed/high-accuracy laser displacement sensor is integrated with a data acquisition system to measure the grinding wheel surface shape and topography for the first time. The measurement method is further developed to calculate and track grinding ratio (i.e. G-ratio) in real-time.
