Planning of Development and Utilization of Underground Space in Xian City

摘要

To improve the function of the city and solve the problems arised from shortage of land in the city and traffic jam, environment pollution and shortage of energy, to strengthen the protection ability of the city, the development and utilization of underground space become more and more important. In this paper, the vitality of development of underground space in Xian city is discussed with a great number of data about the contradiction between the roads and traffic, environment pollution and secondary disasters. The main aspects in development of underground space, projects for development and the ideas and countermeasures in function conversion of civil air defence projects are suggested.
