摘要

The difficulty in measuring the airspeed of a helicopter flying at low speed is seriously hindering in-flight tests as well as the sizing of category A takeoff areas: heliport or oil platforms. This paper presents the existing low-speed measurement systems along with their limitations, then introduces a new system using the helicopter's internal means and based on a model identified by a feedforward neural network. This paper also puts forward a new in-flight tests method for the elaboration of data for the model.
