PRINCIPLE LIABLE PARTIES HELP CESQGs CLEAN UP IN KING COUNTY

This paper summarizes ongoing efforts by the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County (Program) to encourage CESQGs to properly manage their hazardous wastes and implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) as established by the Program. It focuses on a pilot, slated for implementation, that establishes public/private partnerships with potential liable parties (PLPs) and waste management providers that serve all parties' goals of protecting the environment and limiting liability from improper waste management practices.
