FCR, A COST EFFECTIVE RADIOGRAPHIC METHOD FOR THE NONDESTRUCTIVE EVALUATION OF AGING AIRCRAFT

FCR, Fuji Computed Radiography, is being employed as a cost effective NDE method. FCR can eliminate chemical effluents such as those used in conventional RT, Radiographic Testing. During exposure FCR's autonomous flexible image detector is highly portable and requires no power or computer. Numerous communication and information technologies can be employed with FCR x-ray data because the data is in a digital medium. FCR can be implemented without consumables.
