This paper describes the significance and background of developing PCI with oxygen enrichment and summarizes the technical progress on PCI with oxygen enrichment. The three-level aims of developing PCi with oxygen enrichment were proposed, and technical-economic analysis on developing PCI with oxygen enrichment are conducted. The main problems that must be solved for enhancing PCI rate are discussed too.
