In this paper, a technique to verify an impedance measuring instrument for small inductance measurement is proposed. It is based on an air line inductance which is theoretically calculated by considering its frequency characteristics due to skin effect. A description of the inductance calculation and of the application to the impedance measuring instrument is reported together with a first set of experimental results.
