10.2: A CRT-Like FED

摘要

By the design of a in-situ focus structured Spindt tip FED, we show that the cold cathode free electron beam, with 330um×330um pixel size, can be confined to a light spot with diameter 450um on a phosphor screen, with 5mm cell gap. The high voltage phosphor is tested at anode bias of 5kV, which result in the 1,000 Cd/m~2 luminance and 3,000 hours life-time in sealed FED.
