Large screen mosaic displays are an important means of providing the same visual information to a large number of spectators. These indispensable displays are mainly installed in public facilities where many people gather such as stadiums, arenas, public squares as well as station concourses. This paper presents technology for improving the picture quality of large screen mosaic displays using flat matrix CRTs (FMCRT), an area which has seen concentrated efforts to achieve progress since the first FMCRT was developed in 1985 [1].
