摘要

Welded full encirclement sleeve repairs are used frequently in petrochemical industries as repairs for piping and pressure vessels. This publication describes a proposed methodology for calculating the stresses on a welded full encirclement sleeve using a closed from solution derived from shell theory. The analytical results are compared with finite element results and are found to be in reasonable agreement.
