Active osund attenuation is a relativley old idea [1] that has received considerabel attention in recent yeas.The first theoretical descissive studies had bene the ones carried out by (i) Jessel [2] and (ii) Swinbanks [3].But mnore recently,the significant imporvemnet of Active Nosie Contorl is due to hte devleopmetn of imporved signal porcessing theory and hardware tha tenable more sophisticaled appproaches to this problem.many of the traditional problems.wiht this technology cna now be treated more effectively with porper signal processing rater than owith the driect acoustical approaches fo the past.
